It’s a requirement of the Political Parties Elections and Referendums Act 2000 that all election materials contain an imprint to indicate who’s responsible for its production. Printed materials, such as leaflets and posters, must include information about the promoter and the printer (hopefully that’s us!), alongside details of the candidate or party being promoted. So you’ll need to add the following to your artwork: “Printed by StressFreePrint, Unit 5 Stonegravels Ln, Chesterfield S41 7LF” as well as the name and address of the promoter.
For single sided documents, this information must be printed on the front. For multi-page products such as brochures, it should be added to the front or last page. Please refer to the Electoral Commission website for further information.
