How should I prepare my artwork for a perfect bound magazine?

Artwork should be supplied as a high-resolution, print-ready PDF. Because perfect binding features a square spine, you must account for the spine width in your cover design. We recommend a 3mm bleed on all edges and keeping important text at least 7mm away from the spine (the “gutter”) to ensure it remains easy to read once bound.
