Not every banner stand needs to do the same job. You might want something straightforward for a one-off exhibition, a wider display with more room for your artwork or a stand that’s going to be packed up and taken from event to event.

We offer Essential, Wide, Premium and Double Sided options, so you can choose the one that makes the most sense for where it’s going and how often you’ll be using it.

Which banner stand should I choose?

If you’re looking for an affordable roller banner for an exhibition, promotion or occasional event, our Essential Banner Stand is a good place to start. It’s lightweight, simple to put up and packs away into a padded carry case when you’re finished.

Our Wide Banner Stand gives you more space to play with. It works well when you have a bigger design, want your display to be seen across a room or simply need something with a bit more presence.

If your banner stand is going to be travelling with you regularly, have a look at our Premium Banner Stand. The base is designed without fold-out feet and is a better fit for a stand that’s going to be set up, packed away and transported time and again.

Our Double Sided Banner Stand is useful in open spaces where people can approach from either direction. You can use the same artwork on both sides or have a different message on each.

What size are our roller banners?

One of the most common roller banner sizes in our range is 800mm x 2000mm, available with our Essential, Premium and Double Sided options. Our Wide Banner Stand is available at 1200mm x 2000mm, giving you extra width when you have more space to fill.

An 800mm wide stand works well when floor space is limited, while the wider option gives your artwork more breathing room and can make more of an impact across an exhibition or event space.

Before starting your artwork, check the finished size you’re ordering and use the matching template. It saves having to move everything around later and makes sure your design is set up for the stand you’ve chosen.

Getting your banner stand artwork right

Try not to cram too much onto a roller banner. It needs to make sense from a distance, so keep your main message clear and give the important bits room to stand out.

Your logo, headline and anything people really need to see should sit towards the top half of the artwork. At exhibitions especially, the bottom of a banner can quickly disappear behind a table, display unit or a group of people.

Keep text large enough to read without someone having to stand right in front of it and use good quality images wherever you can. A photograph that looks fine on a laptop can look very different once it’s enlarged to nearly two metres tall.

It’s worth thinking about where the banner will be used too. If it needs to catch someone’s eye across a busy exhibition hall, keep things simple. If it’s sitting beside a reception desk, you can afford to include a little more detail.

Banner Stand FAQs

How do I set up a pull-up banner stand?

It only takes a minute or two. Put the support pole into the base, gently pull the printed graphic upwards and secure it at the top of the pole. When you’re finished, unhook the graphic and let it retract carefully back into the base. Can I reuse my banner stand?

Yes. They’re designed to be packed away, stored and brought back out when you need them again. If you know yours will be travelling regularly and getting plenty of use, our Premium Banner Stand is the one we’d look at first.

Do banner stands come with a carry case?

Yes. Our current Essential, Wide, Premium and Double Sided banner stands all come with a padded carry case, which makes them much easier to store and take with you between venues.

Can I use several banner stands together?

Definitely. Two or three stands can work really well across a larger exhibition space. Keep the branding and overall design consistent and they’ll feel like part of the same display rather than a collection of separate banners.

If you mainly need more width, it’s also worth looking at the Wide Banner Stand before ordering several smaller ones.
