The first step in printing your own poster is the creation of your artwork file. If you're not familiar with using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, don't panic. There are plenty of options available to you. Once you've double checked that your file has been created to the correct dimensions and in accordance with our artwork guidelines (you'll find these by navigating to your chosen product and clicking on the Artwork tab), you can add the product to your cart, drag and drop your design files, and finalise your order. Our studio team will review your artwork before it goes to print and let you know if they spot any issues.
When designing your poster, bear in mind that it will be viewed from a distance. Ensure text - especially headlines and important information - is big, bold and readable. We print everything in vibrant full colour so feel free to use eye-catching colours and attention grabbing images.
We offer a choice of different paper stocks and finishes, allowing you to select the most appropriate solution for your needs.
First up are our gloss posters. Their glossy, reflective finish catches the eye and enhances colours, making them a good choice for artwork predominantly featuring photographs.
Matt posters have a subtle, non-reflective finish so are ideal for indoor advertising and point-of-sale applications or, indeed, any artwork featuring lots of text. Colours tend to appear more muted and natural.
Meanwhile, our Essential silk posters offer the best of both worlds. Their semi-gloss finish delivers bright, eye-catching photographs, graphics and text without the glare associated with gloss posters. Generous bulk discounts mean that our Essential posters are a cost effective option should you require a larger quantity of posters.
